Value of the CO2 performance ladder

The CO2 performance ladder is an instrument that helps companies and governments reduce CO2 as well as costs. This CO2 management system is a Dutch initiative and says a lot about our focus on sustainability.

We have had ourselves certified on the basis of the ladder and we find that this investment results in lower energy costs, material savings and innovation gains. With the CO2 performance ladder, we achieve energy savings and emit less CO2. This provides us with cost savings and we also receive fictitious discounts in tenders now that we have obtained the certificate associated with the performance ladder.

Collaboration

No one can do it alone. That's why we work together with environmentally conscious suppliers and buyers. Together with as many chain partners as possible, we make the world a little greener.

It is important to buy sustainably. Consider steels that provide long-term surface protection against wear in the most demanding environments. If you use it longer, you need less of it. Of course, the importance of green steel is growing.

Less damage and recycling

To protect our products, we wrap them with foil. This way, no wood residue (from the lumber) sticks to the steel. And that prevents damage in the production process of our relations. Less damage means less waste. In that area, it is also important that we recycle as much as possible.

Via solar collectors on the roofs of our buildings, we generate as much of our own energy consumption as possible. In our parking lot we have several charging stations for electric cars. Finally, we are increasingly working on solar projects. This is how we are working on a green future today.
